Painting this ork from Alkemy, sculpted by Allan Carrasco. Clean it with some sand paper, fill up the gaps and smoothing some part with milliput. Prime it in light grey and painted a few very thin layers base colours of mixture with Seafoam Blue and a tiny bit of Heather Blue plus Clouded Sea.

Some work in process picture taken from earlier today...I can't wait for the class on Monday and already begin to play around with it. That's the armature for my upcoming bust I'm working on, (nvm the pose..it will change by the time I start sculpting it) just made that up with some wire, nothing special for now. Drew a few rough sketches for this bust already, actually I find it really helpful for my sculpting. I'm going to focus on the torso and the hands for this one. Hrmm...I will try not to screw up too many times, but it is going to be my first bust...so... yah... hee..will see...

N.

My next sculpture is going to being very soon, I've been drawing some rough sketches and stuff. Mainly I got the idea from Cyril Roquelaine's work, (one of my favourite sculptor)
I also like the works from Tony Cipriano, Joaquin Palacios, Simon Lee, Philippe Faraut, The Shiflett Brothers and many more...
Anyways, I read an article today from a newspaper , it saids that when a person is focusing on a certain area and practice for more than 10,000 hours, anybody could become a genius on that particular subject they are working on. So, if I practice painting and sculpting for 10,000 hours, then I guess I could be good at it one day heh? 10,000 hrs = 416.66 days = 1 year and 51.6 hrs. Hrmmm... wasn't too bad I guess..

P.S If you are interested in thriller story, you might want to go check out this: http://www.nishere.com/
Is a free online comic style short story by Stephen King.
"Eight is fate, keep the world straight."
btw... thats the painted version of my wolverine head:)

Ideas for the next sculpture

Lately I've been starting to gather information and ideas of my next sculpture.
It is going to be a bust size this time, should be some sort of orge or human alike creature but not ordinary people yet. Since I think is it not easy to sculpt a normal human being with my level, and personally I am much perfer to create something unreal or fantasy style stuff .
I will try to take some wip pictures this time, but it will going to take a while to finish this bust.

Picture of the day - A huge chocolate soufflé ~ (taste is not bad also)

Something new

This is the first mold I have ever made in my life.... The size is around... armm.... 1/5 to 1/6 scale.
I made two mold actually... but I guess I'm not planning to reproduce again anymore... is quite trobulesome and I am very lazy...
So which means there are only three Hon custom made Wolverine head in the whole world!! (One is original Sculpey and two molds)
I will paint those head later next week... Since I gotta clean it up with sandpaper and fill up some holes first~~
And ha! sorry is not for sell... you can contact me if you really really want one... is only cost .... I don't know... depends on who you are I guess.
