Santa's Rest

I know is a bit late... I know..
Anyway, I quite like this miniature, took me a while to finish it. Mainly because I went to travel during xmas.. haha.. It suppose to be a Christmas gift..ahemm...
But here you go, my little Santa's Rest.

Finally get it done somehow... And I have to start begin my next miniature :) I'm still preparing... I won't show the wip this time. Hope I could get it done within two weeks.
Also starting a new sculpture, around 9" tall female sculpt. Will post some pics later when I have more progress. It is going to be a busy month...

Some wip photos for the miniature I painted today. His name is Carlos from Arte Factory, about 30mm size. Haven't paint anything for awhile, but it feels kinda good to work on this new and bigger desk :)

Got a new desk and bookshelves recently,
so I could finally seperate different categories for all my books.
Which make me feels real good somehow.
I will try to draw and paint even more from now on.

So here goes a story, I was checking out some book review site, and I found a book "Drawing the head & figure" by Jack Hamm, it is quite useful for the practice I'm working on lately. So I went to Amazon and planning to put this book to the cart. And there was a 'friendly reminder' from Amazon and it saids I had purchased this book back in 2007. And I thought.. nope.. I just tidy up my bookshelves and I don't recall I saw this book. Hrmmm.....then I immediately search around my office desk... and there you go... I found this book hidden somewhere under my desk, and is clean and brand new!
It feels kinda cool somehow... a few minutes ago I was checking out this book on the internet, and now I'm holding this book in my hands... Amazing!!!!
